Film & Drama Rights
Books are not only books – they are stories which often live on in the form of screen adaptations or dramatizations. Gyldendal Group Agency also handles the film and dramatization rights on behalf of a selection of authors, such as Morten Ramsland, Thorkild Hansen and Johannes V. Jensen, just to name a few.

Both theatres and movie companies have discovered the impact of great literature, and authors represented by GGA have contributed to successful films such as:
  • Nordkraft [Angels in Fast motion] (2005)
  • Kongekabale [King’s Game] (2004)
  • Pelle Erobreren [Pelle the Conqueror] (1987)
  • Tænk på et tal [Think of a number] (1969)
In addition to these a large number of theatre setups, radio plays, and short films have been based on the works by authors represented by GGA.
