Søren Jessen (born 1963) has worked as a freelance illustrator since 1989. He published his first picture book, Dino rejser til byen [Dino goes to the City], in 1991. In 2000 he was awarded the Ministry of Culture’s Prize for Illustrators in recognition of his work with children’s books.
